Content & Social Media Manager

📍 Location: Ventura, CA (Remote/Hybrid)
🕒 Part-Time or Full-Time
💰 Compensation: Based on experience


Role Overview

We're looking for a detail-oriented, creative, and organized individual who understands social media, content distribution, and digital marketing. This role will focus on helping us repurpose video content, optimize distribution, and manage engagement across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Google My Business.

You’ll work closely with our team to ensure content is posted consistently, optimized for engagement, and aligned with our brand.


Key Responsibilities

✅ Content Management & Repurposing

  • Assist in organizing and distributing video content, social media clips, thumbnails, and captions
  • Edit short-form clips from longer videos for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Facebook
  • Upload and optimize content on Google Drive for team access


✅ YouTube & Google Optimization

  • Upload and schedule weekly YouTube videos
  • Optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags for SEO
  • Create thumbnails using Canva or Photoshop


✅ Social Media Posting & Scheduling

  • Manage and schedule content on Instagram, Facebook, and Google My Business
  • Ensure posts include engaging captions, hashtags, and CTAs
  • Monitor comments and messages, responding in a timely manner


✅ Marketing & Analytics

  • Track engagement metrics to see what content performs best
  • Research trending real estate and Ventura-based topics
  • Provide weekly reports on content performance


✅ Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work closely with the team to align content with real estate listings, market updates, and promotions
  • Stay up-to-date on content marketing trends in real estate


Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with content creation, social media management, or digital marketing
  • Familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Google My Business
  • Ability to edit short-form videos for social platforms (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, etc.)
  • Strong writing skills for captions, descriptions, and social media posts
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and YouTube optimization is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
